Application for Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs Scheme (TIDE 2.0)
Technology is meant to enhance the quality of life, and this is especially true in healthcare. The integration of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Data Analytics, Quantum Computing, Robotics, and Blockchain has significantly accelerated advancements in medical technology. These innovations enable medical professionals to diagnose and treat diseases more effectively. According to a report by Accenture, AI has the potential to contribute USD 957 billion to the Indian economy by 2035, boost India’s annual growth rate of gross value added (GVA) by 1.3 percentage points, and increase the country’s income by 15 percent (MEA, GOI). Despite these advancements, much remains to be explored, and the potential for further value addition across the healthcare value chain is vast.
